Our Ministries

Our Ministry

The Children and Youth Ministries encompass ages 4-17 years.

The purpose of this ministry is to mould, shape and edify the young minds of today in hopes of preparing future leaders of tomorrow. We want our children to be: Ready, Effective, Ablaze, Confident and Triumphant.

The goal of this ministry is to reach children and youth at their level throughout the formative years of their life. We connect with them through Children's Church, Sunday School and Weekly Evening Meetings to not only keep them in church but keep them engaged.

These programs are led by dynamic teachers who are dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ by preparing programming that is fun, interactive and thought-provoking.

REACT
This group meets once a week to engage in fun and spiritual uplifting activities that center around the interest of the children. We cater from ages 4 to 12. Whether it's playing physically active games or creating Vision Boards, we always endeavour to bring in God's Word for the day. We have challenges, contests and Bible memorization games as part of our program. Our goal is to empower and equip the leaders of tomorrow with an impactful spiritual foundation.

Teen Talk
Will there ever be world peace? How do we navigate matters of the heart? What's God's will for our lives? Our teens have questions. And we'll help them search for answers in scripture, while fostering healthy discussions in a positive and fun environment. This program meets bi-weekly for ages 12(pre-teen) to 17. Teen Talk provides our youth with many leadership opportunities.

Boys Leadership Program
Led by some dynamic men of RWC, we have a program to cater to the ever-changing needs of males from ages 12 to 18. The goal is to engage and empower boys to successfully navigate the journey to manhood. This program meets bi-weekly via the Zoom platform.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
VBS happens annually for a week each Summer. Children participate in themed arts and crafts, drama, games, fitness fun and much more. Each day starts off with an action packed worship and devotional session where children learn about the week's foundational scripture. Our talented teachers and counselors are energized and excited, ready to train your child(ren).

Hallelujah Night
Each October 31st the children of RWC and Friends are treated to an awesome evening of fun. Festivities include large group games, crafts, contests, dancing and most importantly lots of candy. This evening was designed to make our children feel like they were not missing out, but also to profess that we are the light. No tricks, just truth and treats!!

LIT Program
Do you have a preteen or teen? Looking for them to learn to be more assertive and take more initiative? Well Leaders in Training(LIT) is for them! In this program your son or daughter will learn how to effectively program plan, communicate and time manage all while caring for children under the watchful supervision of the Children's Ministry teachers. Their skills are put to good use during church events and evening and summer programming.
