Honouring Our Membership (2025)

Member’s Appreciation Sunday was one for the books. The congregation was admonished by guest speaker Bishop John Gordon on the theme “Your Place Matters In The Body.” During the service, Church workers were appreciated by the Ministerial Team and publicly acknowledged for their hard work and dedication to RWC.
The congregation also had the opportunity to witness a heartfelt and spirit-filled ordination led by Bishop Dr. Claude Hibbert, during which members of the RWC were elevated to higher levels.

After the service the entire membership enjoyed a delicious dinner via the culinary styles of GC Jerk Express, they were treated to dessert from an ice cream truck and snacks and drinks were graciously donated by Grace Foods. Even the children were got to partake in the festivities with a Bouncy Castle just for them!

It was an amazing Day filled with fellowship, food and fun!

RWC – Women of Covenant ~ On Mission

Evangel Hall 2024

Our recent food and clothing drive for Evangel Hall Mission on November 10th was a remarkable success, showcasing the generosity and compassion of RWC. In addition to collecting clothing and essential supplies, we had the privilege of cooking the meal for the day, ensuring that those in need received a warm and nourishing meal.

This hands-on effort allowed us to contribute directly to the mission’s purpose, offering not just sustenance, but a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for. As it says in Hebrews 13:16, “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

Our collective contributions reflect our deep commitment to serving others, and providing hope and upliftment to those facing hardships.

WOCC 1-DAY Retreat 24

Matters of the Heart: Highlights from the Women of Conference One Day Retreat

On November 2, 2024 the Women of Conference gathered for a powerful One Day Retreat at Redemption Worship Center, centered on the theme “Matters of the Heart.” This transformative event was designed to inspire, refresh, and strengthen women in their faith while addressing the deep issues of the heart that shape our lives and relationships. With a rich program of worship, insightful messages, and heartfelt fellowship, attendees left feeling spiritually renewed and empowered.

A Day of Worship and Reflection
The retreat began with anointed worship led by Rosan Mattis and Simone Bailey, whose stirring music set the tone for the day. The atmosphere was charged with the presence of God as women gathered in unity, engaging in powerful worship that invited the Holy Spirit to move and speak to their hearts. Through songs of praise and reflection, participants were reminded of God’s love, healing, and faithfulness.

Inspiring Messages from Dynamic Speakers
The event featured a lineup of incredible speakers, each addressing key aspects of the “Matters of the Heart” theme:
Rev. Sheryll Smith opened the session with a powerful message about guarding the heart and healing from past wounds. She spoke about the importance of allowing God to mend the brokenness within, trusting Him to transform our pain into purpose.
Rev. Marva Tyndale followed with recovering your blessing birthright, reminding the women of the importance of claiming the promises God has ordained for them. Her message encouraged attendees to reclaim what is rightfully theirs—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally—and to step into the fullness of God’s blessings with confidence.
Min. Anique Cumberbatch wrapped up the session with a deep dive into the heart’s role in relationships. She emphasized the importance of cultivating a heart of compassion, empathy, and understanding, especially in our relationships with others.
Each speaker left the women with practical insights and spiritual truths that they could apply to their everyday lives, encouraging personal growth and heart transformation.

A Day of Renewal and Empowerment
As the retreat came to a close, women left with a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper understanding of the matters of their hearts. The retreat provided a safe space for emotional healing, spiritual growth, and empowerment, and attendees were reminded that they are deeply loved by God, capable of overcoming any challenge, and equipped to fulfill their unique calling.
A special thank you to Rev. Sephlyn Battieste, our host pastor, for leading this powerful event, and to all the speakers and worship leaders who contributed to its success. We are grateful to everyone who joined us, and we look forward to future gatherings where we can continue to grow and support one another as women of faith.
